Jammu And Kashmir: 1 Pakistani Soldier Killed In Indian Army Retaliation To Ceasefire Violation
According To Indian Army Sources, Pakistan Has Been Trying To Push Terrorists Into India From Neelam Valley In Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir In The Last Few Days.
One Pakistani Army soldier was killed and many others were injured after Indian Army retaliated to the ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Kupwara sector in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. According to Indian Army sources, Pakistan has been trying to push terrorists into India from Neelam valley in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir in the last few days. Army foiled the infiltration attempt last night, army sources said.
According to reports, Indian Army positions on the LoC were alerted after sensing movement of terrorists from across the LoC and took necessary action to prevent any attempt of infiltration. The army has adopted an active approach on the LoC and attempts by the Pakistan Army to push terrorists are dealt with sternly.
Army chief General MM Naravane is in Nagrota in Jammu and Kashmir at the moment to review the security operations in the 16 Corps area which looks after the Jammu sector mainly on the LoC. The army chief has given clear instructions to commanders to give a befitting reply to the Pakistan Army in case of provocation by them on the LoC.
