J&K: Two Harkat-ul-Mujahideen militants arrested by security forces from Handwara
On Sunday, Two Policemen And An Army Jawan Were Injured When Militants Fired Upon A Search Party Of Security Forces In North Kashmir's Bandipora District, The Police Had Said.
The security forces on Monday arrested two militants of Harkat-ul-Mujahideen from Handwara town of Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.
It is seen as a major achievement for the security forces as Indian Army has already launched a massive operation to flush out hiding militants in across Kashmir region.
On Sunday, Two policemen and an Army jawan were injured when militants fired upon a search party of security forces in north Kashmir's Bandipora district, the police had said.
Security forces launched a cordon and search operation at Wahab, Parray Mohalla in Hajin area of the district this morning after receiving specific intelligence about the presence of some militants there, a police spokesman had said.
