Jaipur boy makes it large, joins US Army at Rs 1.2 crore salary
Monark Will Look After The Designing, Inspection, Manufacturing And Maintenance Of The Fighter Helicopters Which Was Inducted In The US Army This Year.
Making it large, Jaipur boy Monark Sharma has got the scientist’s in the AH-64E combat fighter helicopter unit of the US army.
Sharma bagged the opportunity with an annual salary of Rs 1.20 crore and will be posted in Fort Hood, Texas.
Monark will look after the designing, inspection, manufacturing and maintenance of the fighter helicopters which was inducted in the US army this year.
He started his career as a junior scientist in NASA’s mass communication wing in 2013. Later in May 2016, he joined US army.
Within few months, Sharma proved his Indian metal in designing and research for which he was awarded with two prestigious awards—Army Service Medal and Safety Excellence Award in the same year he joined the US Army.
"Here NASA offered me a job and a green card. He was awarded citizenship through US army in 2016," a newspaper quoted Sharma as saying.
Sharma did his bachelor’s in electronics and communication from Jaipur National University, Jaipur.
