Jammu and Kashmir: Two militants killed in encounter with security forces in Budgam
Two militants were killed in an encounter between security forces and militants on Thursday morning at Zagoo Arizal area of Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. As many as three militants were earlier trapped in the encounter, according to news agency ANI.

On Wednesday, two Jaish-e-Mohammed militants were killed in South Kashmir’s Tral area Tuesday. An M-4 carbine was recovered from the militants, which was possibly used for carrying out sniper attacks on security forces, officials said. The killed terrorists were from terror outfit JeM have been identified as Showkat Ahmad Khan from Tral's Handoora & Usman from Pakistan, according to ANI. One of those killed was the nephew of Maulana Masood Azhar, the chief of outlawed Jaish-e-Mohammed.
On Monday, five Border Security Force (BSF) personnel were injured in a suspected militant attack on their vehicle in the Pantha chowk area on the outskirts of Srinagar city. The incident took place when some gunmen opened fire on the BSF patrol vehicle at the Pantha chowk, resulting in injuries to five jawans.
