Pakistan on Wednesday morning violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. The firing took place at about 7 am in Keri Village of the district, according to ANI. The Indian Army retaliated to the ceasefire violation. However, there was no report of any casualty in the Pakistani shelling so far, they said. Pakistani troops had violated the ceasefire on Tuesday too by resorting to mortar shelling on forward posts and villages along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district. Pakistan has repeatedly violated the ceasefire, and has only intensified the border firing ever since the central government diluted the provisions of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir on August 05.
