Jammu & Kashmir policemen's families face action for insulting national anthem
A Video Of The Incident Reportedly Shows Family Members Of A Few Policemen Sitting In Chairs Even As Others Stood Up For The National Anthem.
The controversy over the national anthem has reached the state of Jammu and Kashmir where the family members of a few policemen came in for sharp criticism for ‘insulting’ the paean.It is reported that the family members did not stand up while the national anthem was being played at a passing out parade at the Subsidiary Training Centre in Reasi area of the state.Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti was the chief guest at the attestation-cum-passing out parade and Director General of Police SP Vaid was also present at the event which saw the graduation of 911 recruit constables.A video of the incident reportedly shows family members of a few policemen sitting in chairs even as others stood up for the national anthem."We have taken note of the incident and action would be taken against the guilty," said a police official.
