Jharkhand: Fromer IPS Ajoy Kumar new Congress state unit chief
The Congress On Thursday Appointed Former IPS Officer Ajoy Kumar As Its Jharkhand Unit Chief And Alamgir Alam As The CLP Leader In The State That Goes To Poll On Late 2019.
The Congress on Thursday appointed former IPS officer Ajoy Kumar as its Jharkhand unit chief and Alamgir Alam as the CLP leader in the state that goes to poll on late 2019.
Congress party general secretary Janardan Dwivedi said, “Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has approved name of Ajoy Kumar as the new Jharkhand PCC chief and Alamgir as the CLP leader of Jharkhand Congress Legislature Party.”
Rahul GAndhi has also approved a list of five zonal coordinators, seven organisational and election related committee of the state unit.
Rama Khalkho, Kamlesh Mahto, Sultan Ahmad, Bhim Kumar and Ashok Choudhary have been appointed as five zonal coordinators. The statement also mentions that the five coordinators will not contest in elections.
