Jharkhand government will appoint 18,000 new teachers and all schools in the state will have desk and chairs for students by the year end informed state chief minister Raghuwar Das
The chief minister through an official communique said, “Jharkhand as 1.28 lakh teachers and with the appointment of 18,000 teachers the strength would nearlybecome 1.5 lakh.”
He further said, “Jharkhand would be in the list of total literacy with regular attendance of teachers, taking classes and maintaining discipline.”
Das further stated that district education officials would not be given salaries for sitting at homes.
“Everyone should discharge one’s responsibility,” added Das.
The Jharkhand CM further added that school principals should think of ways for bettering their schools.
“Bettering of schools will definitely lead to rush for admissions in the government schools,” Das added.
The chief minister further added that students unlike earlier will get benches and desks like any private schools.
“More than 28,000 schools have benches and desks. By December the rest of the schools would also have the same by the year end,” added Das.
