J-K: Amid unrest, separatists call for march in Valley
According To Police, The Restrictions Have Been Imposed In Five Police Stations Which Are Nohatta, Safa Kadal, Khan Yaar, MR Gunj And Rain Wari. The Step Has Been Taken To Maintain Law And Order, The Police Said.
Amid unrest in Valley, the separatist leaders have called a rally on Sunday to observe death anniversary of Maulana Mirwaiz Mohammed Farooq and Abdul Gani Lon. The district administration has already taken precautionary measures and put restrictions at a few places in the Valley.
According to police, the restrictions have been imposed in five police stations which are Nohatta, Safa Kadal, Khan yaar, MR Gunj and Rain wari. The step has been taken to maintain law and order, the police said.
The separatist leaders had announced a week-long programme to which they had dubbed ‘Hafta-e-shahdat’. The programme has to be concluded on Sunday.

Farooq was killed on May 21, 1990 while Lon was killed on May 21, 2012.
