A soldier who was critically injured in Pakistani firing along LOC in Nowgam succumbed to his wounds on Tuesday. Pakistan on Tuesday violated ceasefire along the Line of Control in Mandher sector in Poonch of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Indian army too gave them a befitting reply. The authorities were however successful in rescuing children who were trapped in a primary school due to heavy mortar shelling by the Pakistan army in the Naushera sector of Rajouri district.
On Monday, a nine-year-old girl and and Army jawan were killed and three others injured in Pak firing in the Rajouri-Poonch belt.
