Justice Maheshwari appointed as CJ of Karnataka HC, Justice Dominic to be CJ of Kerala HC
Justice Maheshwari, Who Is Currently Serving As The Chief Justice Of Meghalaya, Will Take Over From Justice HG Ramesh, The Current Chief Justice Of Meghalaya, And Will Assume The Office Before February 20.
The Ministry of Law and Justice announced on Tuesday that Justice Dinesh Maheshwari will be appointed as the Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court.
Justice Maheshwari, who is currently serving as the Chief Justice of Meghalaya, will take over from Justice HG Ramesh, the current Chief Justice of Meghalaya, and will assume the office before February 20.
Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, born in 1958, is a law graduate from Jodhpur University. With a lot of experience in civil and constitutional matters, Justice Maheshwari was appointed as a judge of the Rajasthan High Court on September 2, 2004, and subsequently transferred to the Allahabad High Court in July 2014.
With time, he took charge of the Meghalaya High Court in 2016 as the Chief Justice and is currently serving there.
The Ministry of Law and justice also announced the appointment of Justice Antony Dominic as the Chief Justice of Kerala. Justice Dominic is currently serving as the acting Chief Justice at the same court.
Apart from them, Justice Abhilasha Kumari has been appointed as the Chief Justice of Manipur High Court, while she is currently serving at the Gujarat High Court.

Justice Tarun Agarwala of the Allahabad High Court has been appointed as the Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court. He will take over from Justice Dinesh Maheshwari.
Justice Arun Rastogi will take over as the Chief Justice of Tripura High Court, while currently serving at the Rajasthan High Court.
The Centre is yet to approve five recommendations made by the Ministry. These include Justice Jyotirmay Bhattacharya as the Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court, Justice Ajay Kumar Tripathi as the Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court, Justice Aniruddha Bose as the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court, Justice Surya Kant as the Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court, and Justice TB Radhakrishnan as the Chief Justice of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh High Court.
