In the wee hours today Kanniyakumari - Bangalore Express derailed in Tamil Nadu where around 10 passengers have been injured.
The Express which left on Thursday, derailed between Somanayakanpatti and Patchur around 4:15 am where the injured were rushed to the Tirupatur government hospital. No casualties have been reported so far.
Railway officials have reached the accident site and rescue operations are in full swing.
Railway has issued emergency numbers for the families of the passengers:
