Kerala: Family of four found buried over each other in their house; ‘witchcraft’ suspected
In yet another mysterious case after Delhi Burari deaths, four members of a family were found buried on top of each other in a pit in their house in Idukki district of Kerala.
According to a police official, the bodies of a man, his wife, probably in their 50s, and two children were found in the compound of their house on Wednesday.
The neighbours of the family went to their house to check as the family was not seen by anyone since the last four days. They called police after seeing blood stains on the floor and walls of the house.

The deceased were identified as Krishnan and his wife Susheela, two children - 21-year-old daughter Arsha and 19-year-old son Arjun.
Similar to Delhi’s Burari family deaths, the police was also investigating “witchcraft” angle in the deaths after they found out that the Krishnan, who had a rubber plantation, also appeared to have practiced witchcraft.
“While the postmortem result is awaited, sources say wounds indicate as if the bodies were badgered with something, possibly a hammer. The family could have been killed after July 29,” news agency PTI quoted police as saying.
