The Supreme Court on Thursday asked Kerala Police to share the probe details of the case with the National Investigation Agency in Hadia Love jihad case in Kerala.
The National Investigation Agency told the Supreme Court that it was not started its probe in the matter as the Kerala police is investigating it. The NIA pleaded the apex court to pass an order of probe.
Notably, the Kerala high court had annulled Akhila alias Hadia’s marriage and handed over her custody to her father. Hadia had converted to Islam and got married to one, Shafin.
The Kerala high court had cited the report of NIA of religious conversion in the state and made it basis while passing the judgement.
