Kolkata school 'forces' 10 students to 'confess' of being lesbians in written
The Incident Surfaced After Parents Of The Accused Girls Staged A Protest Against The School Administration For Shaming And Forcing Them To Make Confession Of Practicing Homosexuality.
A Kolkata school allegedly shamed and made 10 girls sign a ‘confession’ letter that they were lesbians to bring the students on the ‘right course’.
The incident surfaced after parents of the accused girls staged a protest against the school administration for shaming and forcing them to make confession of practicing homosexuality.
The parents stormed the office of acting principal of the school and accused the authorities of Kamala Girls School for forcibly making the girls admit of practising homosexuality in written.
However, the principal claimed that some students had complained about the 10 girls being indulged in lesbian activities.

“On confronting they admitted it in writing and we further informed the guardians. They were called to officer to alert them about their wards activities,” added the principal.
However, agitating parents rubbished the principal’s claim and said, “Holding hands doesn't count as homosexuality.”
