Kulbhushan Jadhav case: Plea filed in Delhi HC seeking directive to Centre over legal help
The Plea Also Sought A Directive From Delhi High Court To Centre That Latter Move To International Court Of Justice And Place The Matter Before It.
A petition was filed in Delhi High Court on Tuesday seeking release and legal help to Kulbhushan Jadhav who was sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on the charges of spying.

The plea also pitched for a policy for people those who have been apprehended in foreign jails under false cases of kidnapping and others.
Last week, Major General G D Bakshi (retd) had appealed the government to file a habeas corpus in Pakistan courts to find out if Kulbhushan Jadhav, sentenced to death in the neignbouring country on the charges of espionage, is still alive.
The retired army official had expressed apprehension that Jadhav might have already been killed by Pakistan through “insane torture” and the country is trying to cover up the “judicial murder”.
“He was kidnapped, taken to Balochistan and tortured insanely to make him confess to all sorts of things which he did not do,” Bakshi had said during a two-day convention on Nationalism and Patriotism organised by Veterans India.
