Kumar Vishwas takes dig at Aam Aadmi Party with a satirical song
Kumar Vishwas, While Speaking At Sahitya Aaj Tak On Saturday Cast Lights Upon The Recent Differences Between Him And His AAP Party With A Song “Hum Kabir Ke Vansaj Chup Kaise Rahte (We, The Descendant Of Kabir, How Could We Stay Silent)'.
Miffed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and famous Hindi poet Kumar Vishwas, who is known for mocking politicians through his poetry and satirical songs, took a dig at his own party.
Kumar Vishwas, while speaking at Sahitya Aaj Tak on Saturday took a jibe at AAP party and its chief Arvind Kejriwal with a song “Hum Kabir ke Vansaj Chup kaise rahte (We, the descendant of Kabir, how could we stay silent)â€.
At the recently concluded Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Sixth National Council meeting, Kumar Vishwas was not included in party’s official speaker’s list.
Kumar Vishwas even refused to speak as state convener of Rajasthan and left the meeting in between. After the meeting, taking a jibe at the party said, “I thought only Congress and BJP were scared of me.â€
On Saturday Kumar said that he will not be remembered for how his politics were, but for whether he spoke against the "divergence of politics" or not.
The tensions between Kumar Vishwas and Arvind Kejriwal rose after the debacle of AAP in this year’s Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections. After the MCD poll defeat, Kumar had openly criticized party’s sudden shift in the politics.
After that, he was called “a BJP agent†by Kejriwal’s close aide and AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan. Khan was later suspended from party’s primary membership for a brief time.
He was inducted into the party days before Party’s national council meeting.
