Lalu backs Mayawati, says behaviour of BJP ministers proves 'they are anti-Dalits'
Bahujan Samaj Party Chief Mayawati On Tuesday Resigned From The Rajya Sabha. She Has Submitted A 3-page Letter To The Chairman Of The Rajya Sabha.
RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav on Tuesday came out in support of BSP supremo Mayawati saying, that behaviour of BJP ministers proves that "they are anti-Dalits."
He said if Mayawati wishes for another term in Rajya Sabha, his party will send her to the upper house from Bihar.
Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati on Tuesday resigned from the Rajya Sabha. She has submitted a 3-page letter to the chairman of the Rajya Sabha.
While talking to reporters, Mayawati blamed, saying that it is good for her to quit the Upper House as the ruling party BJP does not allow her to speak on the issues related to Dalits.
She said she represents the Dalit community and if she cannot raise the issues in the House, it’s is pointless to continue as a member.
