He Said,Flood Is An Excuse. In Fact, It Is A Pleasure Trip For Him. He Is Coming At A Time When Water Level Has Started Receding.
RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav on Wednesday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying the latter’s Bihar visit is a “pleasure trip.” The prime minister is slated to take an aerial survey of flood-hit areas of the state on August 26.
While talking to reporters, Lalu said Modi’s Bihar visit is mere a “drama.” He said,"Flood is an excuse. In fact, it is a "pleasure trip" for him. He is coming at a time when water level has started receding."
He also slammed Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, saying that the latter is indulged in petty politics while people are suffering in flood-affected region. Lalu said the government repairs barrage each year and spends money in crore but it failed to reap benefit on the ground. “It is a big scam,” he said.
