The Law Commission of India welcomes all concerned citizens to review and discuss the revivial of family laws. As the debate on Uniform Civil Code heats up amid sparring views over it, as All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) says that the Uniform Civil Code is not good for a country like India.
The Law Commission has asked the citizens of the nations to give their views on ending several religious practices and customs that had been branded anti-women in all three major religions.
The commission has prepared a list of 16 questions to solicit public opinion and the direction in which it should proceed, without compromising the diversity and plurality of India.

Here are four questions that have been asked in the questionnaire:
1. The various religious denominations are governed by personal laws and customary practices in India on matters of family law, should the UCC include all or some of these subjects?
