Four Security forces personnel injured in a grenade attack by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam on Monday. Terrorists hurled a grenade at a road opening party of CRPF and police at Batpora in Magam area, 20 kilometres from Srinagar, reported news agency PTI. 

Three CRPF personnel and a local policeman were among injured in the attack. All the injured were taken to SKIMS Medical College hospital at Bemina for treatment.

The attack took place a day after security forces killed Yasin Itoo, Hizbul Mujahideen's chief operational commander and successor of Burhan Wani. 

Security arrangements in the valley have increased in wake of terrorist activities ahead of Independence Day on August 15.
