Maggi Came Under Regulatory Scanner After Samples Were Collected In Uttar Pradesh Were Tested And It Was Found That It Had Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) And Lead In Excess Of The Permissible Limit.
The controversy related to Maggi is refusing to die as now Bollywood actress Madhuri Dikshit, who does advertisement for the 2-minute noodles, has got a notice from Haridwar Food and Drug Administration.In the notice, a report has been sought on claims made in the advertisement regarding maggi noodles. Moreover, she has been asked to respond to the notice within 15 days. A case could be registered if the actress fails to respond to the notice in 15 days, it says.Answeres have been sought on seven points, including how Maggi is good for health, and what are the basis of making the claims. The actress has also been asked to provide details like when she did the ad, how much money she received and what is the contract duration.
