Madhya Pradesh horror : 13-year-old girl set on fire for resisting rape attempt in Rajgarh
The Victim Has Suffered Critical Burn Injuries And Is Undergoing Medical Treatment At A Government Hospital In Rajgarh District, Around 115 Kilometers From MP Capital Bhopal.
A 13-year-old girl was set on fire allegedly by a teenage on Saturday evening after she resisted his sexual assault advances in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh district, police said on Monday.
The victim has suffered critical burn injuries and is undergoing medical treatment at a government hospital in Rajgarh district, around 115 kilometers from MP capital Bhopal.
According to police, the victim is in critical condition. “She has suffered 50 per cent burn injuries in the attack,” said a police officer of Rajgarh district.
Rajgarh Police said that they have detained the boy.
Police said, the boy sneaked into her house when her family members were out for work. “The girl when resisted the boy’s advances and attacked her, he threw inflammable liquid on her and set her on fire,” said a police officer.

Madhya Pradesh Police have lodged an FIR under relevant IPC sections and POSCO Act.
