Sharad Pawar Will Meet PM Narendra Modi To Talk About Issues Related To Maharashtra Farmers.
NCP chief Sharad Pawar will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, over the issues being faced by farmers in Maharashtra. The meeting between the NCP chief and Prime Minister Narendra Modi comes amid the intense political activity to form a government in Maharashtra. The two leaders will meet in parliament in the afternoon.
According to Nawab Malik of the NCP, Pawar will demand some relief for the farmers from the prime minister.
"The meeting between NCP chief Sharad Pawar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be held at 12 pm today in Parliament," Malik said.
The meeting is significant at a time when Sharad Pawar's NCP is poised to play a significant role in future of any government formation in Maharashtra. While Shiv Sena is in discussion with NCP and Congress to form the new government, there have been reports that BJP has also maded advances to Pawar's party.
Meanwhile, leaders of NCP and Congress will meet for a discussion on Wednesday.
