Mamata Banerjee in Delhi Today, likely to meet PM Modi Tomorrow
Banerjee Has Been Criticising The BJP-ruled Government For Its Policies And Making All Out Efforts To Form A Federal Front Against The Saffron Party Before The Lok Sabha Elections In 2019.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will visit Delhi on Tuesday to attend a meeting of the national committee set up to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the meeting of the national committee on Wednesday, which shall be attended by the Chief Ministers of almost all states.
The representatives from across the political spectrums have been invited for the meeting to plan for the grand Gandhi Jayanti celebrations next year.
Banerjee has been criticising the BJP-ruled government for its policies and making all out efforts to form a federal front against the saffron party before the Lok Sabha elections in 2019.
It was not clear whether she will hold any meeting with the CMs of other states. She will return to Kolkata on Thursday.
