Mamata Banerjee Will Be Out Of Power Soon, Says JP Nadda
Nadda Also Accused Banerjee Of Doing Politics Of Appeasement And Accused Her Of Giving Importance To Politics Over The Nation.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) working president JP Nadda on Friday slammed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for opposing abrogation of Article 370 of Indian Constitution and said that she would be out of power soon. Nadda also accused Banerjee of doing politics of appeasement and accused her of giving importance to politics over the nation. “Why did Mamata Banerjee oppose the abrogation of Article 370? Is vote bank politics more important for her than the nation? Is power more dear to her than the nation? The writing on the wall is clear, she will be out of power soon,”
“Is (the concern for) vote bank bigger than national interest for Mamata Banerjee? She should answer why her party opposed the move to integrate the country,” he said.
He also slammed former Congress president Rahul Gandhi for opposing Modi government’s move of scrapping Article 370 and questioned the patriotism of Wayanad lawmaker. Nadda also said that Gandhi’s statement was used by Pakistan in United Nations to oppose the move.
“Look at the statements made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. His statements were used by Pakistan to oppose India in United Nations. Is this nationalism? Is this patriotism?” Nadda said while criticising Gandhi.
