400 complaints have already been received to the anti-corruption cell that was recently set up in Manipur, says CM Nongthombam Biren Singh on Friday.
"The newly set up anti-corruption cell in my office has so far received about 400 complaints. The complaints are being closely monitored," Biren Singh said while addressing a gathering on the occasion of 37th anniversary of BJP at the state unit party office at Nityaipat Chuthek.
"I have also asked all police stations and departments to take necessary action so that investigations can be initiated from the information," he said.
The cell at the CM's office gives easy access to people who intend to lodge complaints against corrupt government employees and officers, he said.
On March 24 last, the Manipur Cabinet had decided to set up the cell.
