Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation on Sunday as part his regular radio programme 'Mann ki Baat'. This will be his first 'Mann ki Baat' since the announcement of the 21-day lockdown to contain the spread of novel coronavirus outbreak. PM Modi, who had already made multiple addresses to nation on the COVID-19 crisis, has said that the latest episode of Mann ki Baat will also focus on the coronavirus pandemic. "Tune in tomorrow at 11 (AM). Tomorrow's episode will be focused on the situation prevailing due to COVID-19," Modi tweeted.
Mann ki Baat is aired on the last Sunday of every month where the prime minister speaks on the latest issues. He often mentions the stories of inspiring Indians and all makes call for unique initiatives during this programme.
The novel coronavirus outbreak has infected nearly 900 people in India with more than 20 deaths so far. More than 30,000 people have died worldwide in the COVID-19 pandemic, two-thirds of them in Europe, according to an AFP tally. (With Agency Inputs)
