Mehbooba Mufti-led J&K govt sacks minister Haseeb Drabu for saying 'Kashmir not a political issue'
People Democratic Party (PDP) On Monday Has Sent Drabu’s Sacking Letter To Jammu And Kashmir Governor Narinder Nath Vohra For A Final Decision.
Mehbooba Mufti-led Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday sacked its Finance Minister Hasseb Drabu for his controversial statement ‘Kashmir is not a political issue and the province is not a conflict state.”
People Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday has sent Drabu’s sacking letter to Jammu and Kashmir Governor Narinder Nath Vohra for a final decision.
Drabu, who is an economist and was designated as Jammu and Kashmir finance minister from 2015 March 4, on Saturday during an event had said, “The state should not be seen as a conflict state or a political problem, but as a society with social issues.”
“People should introspect over the nature and origins of the situation and how the issues can be resolved,” Drabu had said during an event themed “Kashmir: The way forward’.
