A minor blast took place in a stationary passenger train here today causing minor injuries to a woman, police said. The blast in a bogey of Panipat-Ambala passanger train took place an hour before it was to leave the Panipat station, police said.
One woman received minor injuries in the blast which was "minor" in nature, they said. Some widow panes of the coach were broken in the blast. GRP and police personnel reached the spot along with forensic experts and bomb disposal squads, they said.
An inquiry has been ordered by the railways in the incident, officials said.
