It is because of the special interest taken by the prime minister that investment in railways has tripled and touched around Rs 1.48 lakh crore, Sinha said.
"Owing to heavy investment, there has been a special improvement in passenger facilities. The basic facilities at the railway stations have increased, and a number of new trains have been started," he said.ALSO READ | Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are finally tying the knot!
