The Monsoon Session Of Parliament Will Commence From Monday, The Day Voting For The Presidential Election Is Slated To Take Place.
Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Sunday said all parties have assured that the monsoon session will proceed without any ruckus or uproar.
While talking to reporters after all party meeting, She said all parties want to discuss crucial issues like farmers’ suicide and internal security sans any disruption.
The Lok Sabha speaker said she is hoping for a fruitful session of Parliament
The Monsoon Session of Parliament will commence from Monday, the day voting for the presidential election is slated to take place.
The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs (CCPA) has recommended holding the session from July 17 to August 11, according to sources in the committee.
The CCPA meeting, chaired by Home Minister Rajnath Singh, was held last evening after the NDA's presidential nominee, Ram Nath Kovind, filed his nomination papers.
