Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accorded a warm welcome by members of the Indian community as he arrived at the "dynamic and energetic city" of Houston for the mega "Howdy Modi" event in which he will be joined by US President Donald Trump and address over 50,000 Indian-Americans. After PM Modi’s Meeting With Energy CEOs, Petronet Signs MoU With US Firm Tellurian
US natural gas company Tellurian Inc. and Petronet LNG Limited (PLL) of India have signed an MoU, under which PLL and its affiliates intend to import up to five million tonnes per annum (5 mtpa) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from America, the two companies announced on Saturday. Tellurian and Petronet will endeavour to finalise the transaction agreements by March 31, 2020, they added. Read more…

Petrol, Diesel Prices Rise Again On Sunday: Check Latest Rates In India On September 22
The upwards trend in petrol and diesel prices continued with state-run oil marketing companies again increasing petrol and diesel prices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Gurugram and Noida on Sunday (September 22). While the rate of one litre of petrol rose by an average of 21-28 paise, diesel saw an average increase of 21-23 paise. The petrol and diesel prices in India are rising after spike in global oil prices following attacks on Saudi Arabian crude oil facilities. Read more…
Gulf Tensions: Iran Issues 'Battlefield' Warning As US Deploys Troops
Any country that attacks Iran will become the “main battlefield”, the Revolutionary Guards warned Saturday. This came after the US ordered reinforcements to the Gulf following attacks on Saudi oil installations. Washington approved the deployment of troops to Saudi Arabia at “the kingdom’s request”, Defence Secretary Mark Esper said, noting the forces would be “defensive in nature” and focused on air and missile defence.
