Mulayam condoles death of rescue team members in chopper crash

Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Tuesday expressed grief over the deaths in a crash of IAF helicopter near Gaurikund during relief operations in flood-hit Uttarakhand.
In a statement issued here Yadav said the death of rescue team members was a national loss and expressed deep sympathies towards the aggrieved families.
Army jawans were continuously engaged in evacuating stranded pilgrims and providing them relief in Uttarakhand, he said.
The helicopter crash and death of rescue team members in such circumstance was "very sad", he said.
