Muslims to observe Holy Lailatul Qadr night on Thursday
According To The Holy Quran, This Is One Of The Holiest And Most Blessed Night As The Angels And The Spirit Descend Therein, By The Permission Of Almighty Allah With All Decrees.
Muslims across the world are set to observe the holy Lailat-ul-Qadr (also known as Shab-e-Qadr) on Thursday.
However, the specific date of Laylat al-Qadr is not mentioned in the Quran but according to the majority of Islamic scholars, Lailatul Qadr falls on the night of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak 27.
According to the Holy Quran, this is one of the holiest and most blessed night as the angels and the spirit descend therein, by the permission of Almighty Allah with all decrees. As per the beliefs, the blessings by worshiping on this night can't be equaled by worshiping for entire life.
Special prayers and sermons will be held at Delhi’s Jama Masjid and other Mosques across the nation.
The whole month of Ramadan is a period of spiritual training for Muslims across the world and they devote much of their time to fasting, praying and reciting the Quran.
