Two persons, including an admin of a WhatsApp group, have been booked for allegedly posting objectionable messages on the social networking platform in the district, police said on Wednesday.
Police registered a case against Ravi Chawla, member of a WhatsApp group, and its admin Sonu in Bhopa on Wednesday, SP (Rural) Rakesh Jolly said. The case has been registered under section 66A of the IT Act and 505 (statements conducing to public mischief) of the Indian Penal Code.
