Nawaz Sharif walks in ICU; PM Narendra Modi wishes speedy recovery, sends flowers
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Seems To Be Recovering Well As He Took A Brief Walk With The Help Of Doctors In The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) On Thursday And Also Talked To His Family, Reports Said. He Ate A Light Meal For The First Time After He Underwent An Open Heart Surgery On Tuesday.
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif seems to be recovering well as he took a brief walk with the help of doctors in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Thursday and also talked to his family, reports said. He ate a light meal for the first time after he underwent an open heart surgery on Tuesday.“All good wishes to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his speedy recovery,” PM Modi said in a message which was sent along with the flowers.
Earlier on May 30, Modi had received a call from Sharif just before the latter was wheeled in for his open-heart surgery in a hospital in the UK.“PM @narendramodi receives phone call from PM Nawaz Sharif just before Pak PM is wheeled in for surgery. Wishes him a speedy recovery,” the spokesperson of the Ministry External Affairs Ministry Vikas Swarup had tweeted.Modi had also extended best wishes to Sharif via his Twitter handle: “My best wishes to PM Nawaz Sharif Sahab for his open heart surgery on Tuesday. And for his speedy recovery & good health,” Modi tweeted.
