Five police personnel lost their lives in a landmine blast near Sunki, Koraput district on Andhra-Odisha border on Wednesday. 20 people were injured in the landmine blast.
Naxalites blew the bus of Andhra Pradesh police in landmine blast near Salur ghat. The spot is situated around 120 km away from Jagdalpur.
Salur is located on the banks of River Vegavathi. Salur or Saluru is a municipal town and Mandal headquarters in Vizianagaram district, of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
