Two Police Officials Were Today Suspended For Dereliction Of Duty In Connection With The Murder Of NIA Officer Tanzil Ahmed, Who Was Involved In The Investigation Of Several High-profile Cases Including The Attack On Pathankot Airbase.

Two police officials were today suspended for dereliction of duty in connection with the murder of NIA officer Tanzil Ahmed, who was involved in the investigation of several high-profile cases including the attack on Pathankot airbase.( Also Read: Tanzil Ahmed murder case: Main accused Munir arrested from Delhi )
Sahaspur Chowki in-charge Surendra Singh and constable Budh Singh have been put under suspension, Superintendent of Police Subhash Singh Baghel said.( Also Read: They shot my father till the time he didn’t die: Daughter of slain NIA officer )
Tanzil Ahmed was shot dead on April 3 by two unidentified assailants when he was returning home from a wedding near Bijnor.
