Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) completes first phase of construction in Record Time on Noida- Greater Noida Metro Corridor. The first phase took 8 months instead of one year. The structural work of all the 21 metro stations is expected to be completed by March 2017.
The construction of Noida-Greater Noida Metro Corridor consisting of 30 Kilometres of viaduct & 21 Stations is in full swing. The casting of concourse level slab at Sector-143 station started.
According to Noida Authority's Deputy CEO Saumya Srivastava who holds additional charge as Executive Director of NMRC, "the structural work of this station is expected to be over by August 2016.
The casting of concourse level slab of Sector-71, Delta & Sector-149 will also take place within a week’s time.
He also added, "the structural work of all the 21 metro stations is expected to be completed by March 2017. The work of viaduct is also moving on a fast track as approximately piles for 15 KMs, pile cap of 9KMs and Pier for 5KMs has already been completed and complete viaduct of 30KMs and 21 stations is expected to be completed by May 2017."
