No external injuries on Rohit Shekhar Tiwari's body, autopsy to ascertain exact cause of death: Police

Rohit Shekhar Tiwari’s post-mortem examination was conducted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Wednesday, the police said. His mother Ujjwala was also present at the premier medical insititute. Vijay Kumar, the DCP (South Delhi), said the exact cause of death of the son of former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, ND Tiwari, will be ascertained after the autopsy reports are out. Rohit died on Tuesday in New Delhi less than six months after his father died at the age of 93 in October last year. Rohit Shekhar was brought dead to Max Hospital in Saket.
Vijay Kumar also said that no external injury was found on Rohit’s body and an enquiry under section 174 of the CrPC was initiated.
It is not yet clear what led to Rohit Shekhar Tiwari's sudden death. However, hours later, his mother Ujjwala Tiwari said that her son died a natural death. She told reporters, "His death is natural. I have no suspicion but I will reveal later what circumstances led to his death."
She, however, said she will later reveal the names of those pressured her son.
According to Joint Commissioner, Delhi Police, Devesh Shrivastava, Rohit Shekhar Tiwari suffered a nose bleed, which his servants reported to his mother.
