At least 30 people were fell ill with food poisoning symptoms after eating community feast in Balasore district, Odisha.
A district health official said that the villagers, who attended the feast at Kantabania village on the occasion of Kartik Purnima on Saturday night, complained of nausea, vomiting and stomach pain.
All of them were taken to a local community health centre from where 22 (including 15 children), were shifted to the district headquarter hospital, the official said.
The condition of all the patients was stable, Balasore chief district medical officer, Bibekananda Das said.
