Pakistan violates ceasefire in J&K's RS Pura sector, six civilians injured
The RS Pura Sector In Jammu And Kashmir Was Once Again Under The Grip Of Heavy Mortar Shelling On Thursday Morning As Pakistan Continued To Resort To Ceasefire Violation.
The RS Pura sector in Jammu and Kashmir was once again under the grip of heavy mortar shelling on Thursday morning as Pakistan continued to resort to ceasefire violation. Six civilians have been reported injured in the heavy mortar shelling.
This has been the third consecutive day that Pakistan violated ceasefire along Line of Control (LoC). On Wednesday, Pakistan violated ceasefire in RS Pura sector targeting the Indian posts with mortar and small arms fire, according to DIG BSF, according to reports.
Till Wednesday night, at least 10 civilians, including seven women members of one family, have been injured due to the ceasefire violations in RS Pura sector.
The district administration has instructed closure of educational institutions in the border areas and has asked the people to remain cautious. Ever since India carried out surgical strikes across LoC on terror launch pads, there have been over 40 ceasefire violations by Pakistan.
