Pakistani kid undergoes heart repair surgery at Noida hospital, flies back home hale and hearty
Bilal Had Become Very Weak Due To The Prolonged Illness And Was Kept On Ventilator For Four Days Post- Surgery.
Mohammad Bilal, a three-year-old Pakistani kid has been successfully operated upon at a private hospital in Noida. Bilal, from the Pakistani city of Lahore, was suffering from a heart ailment identified as Uhl's anomaly.Due to the condition, the muscles on the right chamber of Bilal’s heart were not functioning properly as they were weak and enlarged thereby increasing pressure on his heart's left chamber."As a result, the child's heart was not functioning properly and the pumped blood was unable to reach his lungs resulting in high risk for his life," informed Rajesh Sharma, director (Paediatric Cardiac Surgery), Jaypee Hospital, Sector 128, Noida.Bilal had become very weak due to the prolonged illness and was kept on ventilator for four days post- surgery. He was given medicines to gain immunity and fight infections. He was discharged last week after which he flew back to Lahore with his family.
