A Pakistani national, awaiting deportation after completing jail term for illegally crossing the border, has been slapped with Public Safety Act and sent to Kotbalwal Jail in the district, police said on Sunday.
The Jammu and Kashmir Home Department had issued a warrant under the Public Safety Act (PSA) against the Pakistan national Khalid Parvez alais Junaid, and it was executed by Samba Police, a police official said.
The detenue has been lodged in the Central Jail Kot Balwalin Jammu, he said, adding that he was awaiting deportation toPakistan after completing his sentence in a case of illegal border crossing four years ago.
