Paradise papers leak: MoS Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha says all transactions were bonafide and legal
In A Series Of Tweets, Sinha Said, All These Transactions Have Been Fully Disclosed To Relevant Authorities Through All Necessary Filings.
Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha on Monday submitted his clarification after his name surfaced in Paradise papers leak.
The minister chose Twitter and wrote that he has provided full details to the English daily and the transactions were legal and bonafide which were undertaken on behalf of the organisation under his fiduciary as a partner at Omidyar Network.
In a series of tweets, Sinha said, "All these transactions have been fully disclosed to relevant authorities through all necessary filings."
“After leaving Omidyar Network, I was asked to continue on the D.Light Board as an Independent Director,†he said in a tweet.
The minister said he had immediately resigned from the D.light board and had severed all his involvement before joining the council of ministers.
“It is crucial to note that these transactions were done for D.Light as an Omidyar representative, and not for any personal purpose,†he said.Â
