Police Constable kidnapped by militants in Shopian Village

A Jammu and Kashmir Police constable was abducted by militants on Thursday in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
The policeman, identified as Javid Ahmad Dar, was abducted from near his home at Vehil village in Shopian when he was on way to a local medical shop to purchase medicines, as per sources.
Militants came in a car and abducted the constable. A massive hunt has been launched to trace him, according to sources.
Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off by Government forces and all the senior officers reached the spot to rescue the Constable and nab the assailants.
