Police On Tuesday Recovered A Live Cartridge Of An AK-47 Rifle From A Pilgrim Who Was Going To The Vaishno Devi Shrine In Reasi District In Jammu.

Police on Tuesday recovered a live cartridge of an AK-47 rifle from a pilgrim who was going to the Vaishno Devi shrine in Reasi district in Jammu.
The live cartridge was seized last evening from Sukh Sagar, who hails from Chhattisgarh, during checking at a new track en route the cave shrine, a police officer said.
Sagar has been detained and a case has been registered in this regard. Further investigation is going on, the officer added.
