Rajasthan: 8.69 lakh students to sit in class XII exams beginning on Thursday

The class XII board examination conducted by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will start from Thursday.
Nearly 8.69 lakh students across the state will sit for the examinations, which will conclude on March 25.
The board has installed CCTV cameras in 320 sensitive examination centres out of total 5398 in the state.
“68 special flying squad teams have been constituted to check malpractices. The squads will conduct checks at every district administration and education department level,” RBSE chairman B L Choudhary said.
The senior official informed that the question papers have been kept at police stations and police chowkis situated close to the examination centres to ensure their complete security.
He added that a mobile app has been launched by the board especially for invigilators and district education officers to stay informed about the board examination related updates.
The class X board examination conducted by RBSE will commence from March 9. Nearly 10.99 lakh students have registered to take the class X board examination this year.
