‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth Will Not Join Any National Or Regional Political Party But Will Only Float His Own Party, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President Su Thirunavukkarasar Said On Sunday.
‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth will not join any national or regional political party but will only float his own party, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President Su Thirunavukkarasar said on Sunday.The TNCC chief said, “As a friend who has known him for 35-40 years what I think is he will not join any national or regional party. He will only float a new party.”If Rajinikanth floated a new party, it will be up to him to decide on alliance, he said while speaking to reporters after participating in the 26th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

The BJP is also trying to woo him to join their party. According to unconfirmed reports, Tamil Nadu is abuzz with speculation that the south superstar will soon meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.However, former Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss said that Tamil Nadu does not need an actor but an educated person.Last week, Rajini asked his fans, who had gathered to meet him, to be prepared for war. It had given a strong signal that he might want to join politics. Looking at the Tamil Nadu’s legacy of actors turning into politics, it can be expected that the Tamilians may soon get a new star in politics.
